2008 Student Achievement Award Winner Announced!
Women at Work, Inc. is very pleased to announce the recipient of our 2008 Student Achievement Award, Ms. Amber Nicole Howard. Amber is a rising senior at The College of Charleston School of Business and Economics whom we felt best exemplified the qualities and attributes necessary for excellence as one of our future business leaders.
Amber’s major is Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. While maintaining a full course load and achieving an overall GPA of 3.5, Amber volunteers much of her time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and BMW’s Drive for the Cure while working part-time at the College of Charleston’s Stern Student Center. This summer Amber will be working full-time at Dillards as an intern in their management program. In addition, she will be self-studying for her South Carolina Insurance License to prepare for her fall internship at New York Life while completing her senior year.
The board members of Women at Work were extremely impressed by Ms. Amber Howard and we ask that you join us in welcoming her to our organization. Congratulations Amber!
